A pink contract is an illegal and unethical agreement between a spammer and Internet service provider (ISP) that allows a spammer to use the ISP to send or host spam without obstruction. This contract gives a spammer the ability to operate beyond normal ISP terms and conditions that restrict the sending or hosting of any type of spam.

A pink contract excludes an organization or user from an ISP’s spamming regulations or policies. Typically, the spammer pays a large amount of money to lure an ISP into lifting spam broadcasting restrictions. In return, the spammer is given the ability to send bulk unsolicited emails to a large number of users.
