What Does Spam Trap Mean?
A spam trap is an anti-spam technique through which spam email and spammers are identified. The trap is essentially a honeypot that distinguishes spam by creating an email address configured to not receive email. Therefore, if messages come to this inbox, they can be assumed to be spam.
