Data Center Markup Language (DCML) is an XML-based standard data format and model for specifying data center environments such as dependencies between data center components as well as policies to govern those environments. DCML essentially provides a common description for the data center including hardware, software programs and information. DCML is designed to bind data center system management aspects and tools to provide an expanded environment vision.
